Community Code of Conduct
Why this exists
GCR Sentinel is built for people who want signal, not noise. Chat is where members and Verified Intel Providers share what they're seeing in real time, and it only works if everyone treats it like an adult conversation. This document spells out what's expected, what isn't tolerated, and what happens when the line gets crossed.
The standard
Speak as if it'll end up on a transcript with your name attached. Disagreement is welcome, even sharp disagreement — calling out a guru's failed predictions is the entire point of this platform. What we don't allow is conduct that turns the room toxic, drives members out, or exposes us (and you) to legal risk.
What's prohibited
Harassment. No personal attacks, slurs, sexual content directed at members, repeated unwanted contact, or targeting any member because of race, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, or political affiliation.
Aggressive conflict. No threats — explicit or implied — against any member, public figure, or third party. No doxxing. No coordinating pile-ons or off-platform retaliation.
Denigration. You may critique a guru's prediction or track record. You may not attack their family, accuse them of crimes you cannot substantiate with a public source, or use slurs against anyone.
Financial-advice violations. No telling another member to buy, sell, or hold currency. No private rate-locking offers. No "exchanges start Monday, DM me" — that's exactly what GCR Sentinel was built to track, not to host.
Off-platform solicitation. No directing members to private exchange groups, paid intel services, or off-platform transactions. No requesting payment from other members for anything.
Impersonation. No pretending to be a Verified Intel Provider, GCR Sentinel staff, a government official, a bank employee, or anyone you are not.
Illegal content. No content that is unlawful, including threats of violence, incitement, fraud schemes, sexual content involving minors, or stolen credentials.
Spam. No mass-posting links, repetitive copy-paste content, automation, or bots.
How violations are handled
Every chat message passes through an AI moderation layer before it appears. Clean messages post instantly. Clear violations are blocked outright. Borderline messages may be held for human review.
For chat conduct violations — harassment, denigration, aggressive conflict, financial advice, off-platform solicitation, spam:

| 4th violation | Either permanent read-only status OR account termination, at GCR Sentinel's discretion based on severity and pattern. |
Most fourth-violation outcomes default to read-only status — your subscription continues, you retain full access to content, alerts, archives, and tracking, but you can no longer post in chat. Read-only is permanent; no refund is issued because access to the product continues.
In cases where conduct creates ongoing risk to other members or the platform — repeated targeting of the same member, coordinated brigading, conduct bordering on the serious-violation list below — GCR Sentinel may instead terminate the account. Terminated accounts have their subscriptions canceled; future billing stops; the current period is not refunded.
For serious violations — illegal content, threats of violence, doxxing, impersonation of Verified Intel Providers or staff, fraud schemes, or sexual content involving minors:
Your account is terminated immediately, no warning escalation. We may report the conduct to law enforcement and preserve evidence for any investigation. The subscription is canceled. Future billing stops. The current period is not refunded.
Verified Intel Providers are held to a higher standard
The Green Verified badge represents identity verification and a signed acknowledgment of this Code. Loss of the badge is itself an enforcement action — it can be revoked for conduct that would only warrant a warning for a regular member, including:
- Public statements that contradict this Code (on or off GCR Sentinel)
- Off-platform solicitation of GCR Sentinel members
- Endorsing specific exchange platforms, brokers, or rate-locking services
- Misrepresenting a relationship with banks, governments, or financial institutions
A Verified Intel Provider who loses the badge becomes a regular member — chat privileges intact, but with no special status.
How to report
In chat, long-press any message and tap Report. Choose a reason and add context if you want. Reports go to GCR Sentinel staff and are reviewed within 24 hours. You will receive a notification when the report is resolved.
For conduct outside chat — off-platform threats, doxxing attempts, impersonation on other platforms — email report@gcrsentinel.com with as much detail as you can provide.
Appeals
If you are placed in read-only status and believe the decision was wrong, you may appeal once by emailing appeals@gcrsentinel.com within 30 days. Include your account email and a brief explanation. Appeals are reviewed by a different staff member than the one who issued the restriction. The decision on appeal is final.
Terminated accounts (severe violations) are not eligible for appeal.
Updates
We may revise this Code as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Code.
